GiveOUT Day returns on October 16, 2025 for organisations and community groups to take part in a national day of giving for the LGBTQIA+ sector.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for GiveOUT Day, your organisation, project or community group must:

be not-for-profit and based in Australia
directly benefit or celebrate LGBTQIA+ communities in Australia

↔️ How we determine ‘not-for-profit’

Situation 1: “I have an ABN and I’m registered with an Australian Charities and Not for profits Commission (ACNC)”

If you have an ABN, and are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) you are automatically eligible. You can look up your ABN here to see if your organisation is registered with the ACNC.

Situation 2: “I have an ABN but I’m not registered with ACNC”

If you have an ABN but are NOT registered with the ACNC, your eligibility is determined based on your ‘entity type’. You can look up your ABN here to find out what your entity type is.
